Business Analytics, BS

The Business Analytics Program equips students for careers in a data-driven world and gives them an understanding of all functional areas of business. The program prepares students to analyze data and extract insights to enhance performance and speed up business decision-making. Leveraging the Bay Area’s innovative culture, students gain hands-on experience and learn from industry leaders. We aim to provide the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary for success in today’s market while promoting lifelong learning and personal growth.

Learning Outcomes:

Students completing the major in Business Analytics will be able to:

1. Apply core quantitative and/or qualitative analytical methods to improve and support effective business decision-making.
2. Produce business writing that meets professional standards.
3. Deliver a professional oral presentation.
4. Analyze an ethical issue and defend the decision based on this analysis.
5. Analyze whether firms are managed as socially and environmentally responsible businesses.
6. Apply core data analytics principles to solve complex business problems.
