Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the requirements for the bachelor of science degree in psychology, students will be able to:
- DEMONSTRATE knowledge of and be able to critically analyze the theoretical approaches, research findings, and historical trends in psychology.
- EXAMINE multiple research methods and statistical tools; use them to design research, and collect, analyze, and interpret data; and write a research report using APA format.
- EXPLAIN the multiple ways that identities (e.g. gender, race, culture, age, sexual orientation, disability) affect psychological processes.
- APPLY psychological theory and research to real-world problems and issues, from the personal to the societal.
