Identification Cards

Incoming students are issued a photo identification (ID) card on the first day of the semester. Instructions for requesting a photo ID card are found here. The ID card serves as picture identification and is valid for the estimated four years of attendance at Saint Mary’s College (less if you are a transfer or graduate/professional student) and provides various privileges and discounts. The ID card is multifunctional and is used for access to the Joseph L. Alioto Recreation Center, Library, and Health Center and is used for entry for College events, including Athletic events. The ID card is also used for entry into Oliver Dining Hall and is used for other dining venues. Students who are not registered are not eligible to utilize the privileges/discounts of the ID card.
