OPS 535 - Programming for AI-Powered Business Solutions

This course introduces students to Python programming, starting with the basics and fundamental programming concepts, including variables, compound data types (such as lists, tuples, sets, and dictionaries), loops, conditionals (if statements), functions, and debugging. Students will then progress to learning key libraries like Pandas and NumPy, gaining skills in loading data into DataFrames and preparing it for use with pre-built, pretrained AI models. These AI models will be applied to various business applications, enabling students to leverage AI tools to solve real-world business challenges. Hands-on projects throughout the course will ensure students develop both strong programming foundations and the ability to use AI in practical scenarios.
