In this course, you will revise, edit and polish a final manuscript in fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry or dramatic writing. Along the way, you will engage in scholarly research to better understand the literary forms and traditions that you are in conversation with in your work, developing an artistic statement that describes the genesis and evolution of your project. Through a structured drafting process, writing workshops, and one-on-one editorial sessions, you will prepare your final manuscript for publication as an undergraduate thesis-and for presentation at a public reading.
